    Chameleon.

    Kobling av FC, ESC, Cam, reciver spektrum telemetry, samme som jeg har for Alien.

    målet her er å få Telemetry fra ESC og FC til LCD display på DX9 og i OSD for Domninator v2 briller.
    det som er litt spennende er Telemetry fra ESC til OSD, siden jeg aldri har hatt det før!

    Samt justere settings for VTX via DX9, alt dette uten om det siste fungerer på min Alien bygg. Click image for larger version.

    Furious True-D Diversity Receiver Module 5.8GHz System V3 Firmware 3.5

    Denne var ikke lett å få igang, ett eller annet gikk bad da jeg skulle skru på extern reciver swith, men ser ut til å fungere hver gang nå, når jeg setter inn batt i dom v2
    gjenstår nå om den slår gamle Nextwawe fatshark reciver.....

    okey, sitter og leser samt spør på Rcgroups, det viser seg at å koble denne FC er ikke bare bare....

    DVS at man må b.l.a bruke en diode og motstander for å få alle mine ønsker dekket, ønsker er beskrevet i posten #11
    Får hjelp av en som heter teralift, fyren er drit dyktig, mest sikkert en elektro inginiør. Men uansett, virker litt rart for meg at man må gjøre så mange hacks /mods for å få denen FC til fungere.

    leser meg litt opp på Pull up resistors: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/pull-up-resistors for å prøve å skjønne hvorfor og hvordan.
    slik jeg forstår det skal resistor (motstanden) hindre i at UART3 pin som går ti MCU pin (F4 prosessoren) ikke skal kortslutte.

    No. Even if you let it go out of control (that's what "resource interter 3 none" does), they will still function as a non-inverting buffer.

    I gave your requirements a thought, and coming to a conclusion that SRXL must go to TX1, sacrificing ESC telemetry function on RX1, at least for 3.2.

    ESC telemetry then somehow should be routed to RX3 or RX6.
    The easiest way of doing this is to bridge RX1 to RX3 or RX6.
    RX3 is easier, because it is right next to RX1, but I recommend RX6, because this configuration will give you an extra output timer.
    ESC telemetry signal available at RX1 is safely ignored by UART1, as it goes to full duplex mode under SRXL mode.

    You can connect your SmartPort device to a remaining port, say UART3, by adding a diode and a pull-up resistor, as shown in the attached pic.
    To make this circuit work, you have to enter "set vtx_halfduplex = OFF".

    Okey. So the TX1 is the only UART none Inverted serial (RX) ? ( softserial port)
    What UART are HW and serial?

    UART1=?None inverted
    UART3=?inverted
    UART4=?inverted
    UARTs are all hardware. You just configure them using GUI.

    UART1 = Serial RX (then set provider to SRXL in configuration tab)
    UART3 = Peripherals/SmartAudio
    UARR6 = Sensor Input/ESC


    ECS TELEMETRY routed to RX3 or RX6, you mean with fysical wiring?
    Yes. From RX1 to RX6.

    Har ihvertfall funnet ut at både diode og motstand finner jeg lett i butikken kjell og company

    Aner ikke, skal prøve å koble dette i nærmeste dager. man må kjøre slik hack for SBUS også for Taranis oppsett, men uten pull upp transistor.

    Comment: Hi, I recently bought this from your supplier in Norway, because you where sold out.

    I have asked for help on the RcGroups forum.
    Have received good help from an excellent guy called teralift, he has made a wiring diagram form for me.

    Features desired are:


    My requirements are sent telemetry data from FC to reciver SPM4649T, which is sent to the DX9 Radio.
    To adjust the VTX settings from both DX9 directly on the LCD screen, and from DX9 into the goggles OSD.
    and for the wraight 32 plus ESC, two late telemetry to the FC, then to reciver, that is sent to the DX9

    I know now that PID adjusting is not possible, only tru the Raceflight software for FC. RF1

    My question to you is, Is it really that you have to do so much Hacks to make this work?

    Is there no software resource way to do this instead of having to put on a capacitor on batt pads, to eliminate noise for gyro, as well as a diode to not get signal infected with certain UART, as well as a so-called pull up resistor, which I still do not understand why may.

    Sorry to tell you, the answer is YES, the problem is F4 MCU itself, unlike F3, there is no build in inverter in the MCU, so we have to used ext. Inverter, when the other devices are inverted output.

    Theoretically, softserial (like we used on TX1), could fix the problem without hack, but the problem is it taking too much CPU time, to on Teralift's draw, only the RX using Software Serial.

    I think in the future, may be:
    1. the other device give up inverted output deisgn, back to normal signal
    2. we change the FC design, put more inverters on board
    3. Betaflight optimize the code, reduce the softserial cpu usage, then it could supports more software serial.
    4. we turn to F7 MCU, which has build in inverter

    Airbot har helt rett, F4 er ikke egnet til å inteface mot mye annen elektronikk med SBUS eller lignende inverterte signal. Egentlig er SBUS noe møkk, nettopp på grunn av denne inverteringen, den gir overhodet ingen fordeler, KUN ulemper. Når det er sagt er det vel så inngrodd at løsningen fremover blir FC med F7. Dessverre.

    Forøvrig; En pull-up motstand gjør egentlig akkurat det navnet tilsier; den trekker en inputpinne høy via en motstand. Da kan en ekstern enhet trekke den lav for å gi et signal. Pull-up's trengs når inngangen eller vil være flytende, dvs at den da ikke har noe definert tilstand. Tenk på at pullups trengs for å angi en standard tilstand (høyt signal), det er svært vanlig at slike pullups er internt i MCU og kan aktiveres via programkode, men ikke alltid på alle pinner.
